Three former Albion players with over 700 appearances between them will be among the guests at a special fans' dinner next month.
Former boss Steve Gritt will be special guest at the Amex Stadium on Friday 22 April at a dinner which will kick off a number of events to commemorate the 25-year anniversary of the club leaving the Goldstone Ground and the final game of the 1996-97 season when Gritt's team secured their Football League status.
Former Albion captain Steve Foster, Dean Wilkins - who played and managed the club - and Paul Clark have confirmed their attendance at the dinner.
Foster made more than 300 Albion appearances in two spells and also played in the 1983 FA Cup final replay against Manchester United.
Wilkins played more than 300 games for Albion in the heart of midfield and managed the club between 2006-08 while Clark had five seasons with Albion between 1977-82 and was part of the squad that won promotion to the old First Division.
The event will be hosted by MyAlbion TV’s Richard Reynolds and will include interviews with those present, as they recall memories of their time at the club.
The team which played the final game at the Goldstone against Doncaster Rovers, and then secured the club’s Football League status with a 1-1 draw at Hereford United a week later, will be invited as guests of the club to the Premier League home game against Southampton on Sunday April 24.
A 25-year anniversary quiz – presented by Albion Roar co-host Alan Wares – will take place on Friday 6 May in Dick’s Bar, the evening before Albion host Manchester United at the Amex.
Tickets for the dinner will be priced at £45 per person for tables of up to ten and include a three-course meal.
