Graham Potter's men now have 29 points from 21 games.

Graham Potter was a proud head coach after watching his side hold Chelsea to a 1-1 draw in a thriller at the Amex.

Adam Webster's second-half header cancelled out Hakim Ziyech's opener and Albion had chances to take all three points as they stretched their unbeaten run to six games in all competitions.

"We are pleased and proud of our performance," said Potter. "Chelsea are a top team and we gave them a good game and deserved our point. The performance was full of courage and hard work.

"We gave ourselves a chance to win the game because we played so well.

"Chelsea have got some top players. You have to cover each other but the boys played on the front foot when they could. They gave everything and it was a performance I enjoyed.

"The players showed great spirit on the pitch and contributed to what I thought was a great atmosphere - our fans really got behind the team again."

Potter was delighted with skipper Webster, who scored his first goal of the season with a thumping header from Alexis Mac Allister's corner.

"For the goal we try to look at how we can score and managed to execute the set piece well. It was a great moment for Adam and our supporters.

"Adam had had a spell out with injury but you can see what he gives the team. He can carry the ball forward and he helps us build our game, he's an important player for us and I was delighted with his performance."
