Alexis Mac Allister would love to continue his goalscoring exploits on home soil when Albion take on Crystal Palace.
The 23-year-old midfielder scored twice as Albion began 2022 with a 3-2 win at Everton earlier this month.
The Argentina international also netted at Burnley in the 2-1 victory on the opening day and four of his five top-flight goals have been scored on the road including the dramatic stoppage-time equaliser at Selhurst Park last season.
But it would mean a lot to be back on the scoresheet in front of a full house at the Amex on Friday.
“The two goals against Everton were great for me and, as a team, I thought we did really well,” he said.
“So now I am looking forward to doing something like that at the Amex, it would be fantastic if it happened on Friday.
“We know how big this game is for our fans and I’m sure we will get great support as always.
“It make such a difference to us, and I know how much they would enjoy it if we could win against Crystal Palace.
“They are a strong side with many good players but the team is playing well at the moment, and hopefully this will continue on Friday.”
