Maupay strike up for Premier League Goal of the Month

Frenchman's last minute showstopper at London Stadium nominated for December award.

Neal Maupay's goal ensured Albion took a point home from their trip to the London Stadium.

Neal Maupay’s audacious overhead-kick in the 1-1 draw with West Ham on 1 December has been shortlisted for the Premier League’s Budweiser Goal of the Month award.

As the game entered the penultimate minute at the London Stadium, Neal Maupay met Tariq Lamptey’s cross with a brilliant right-foot volley to ensure Albion took a point home with them.
