Please read the following information carefully.

With the confirmation of new Plan B measures due to come into force over the coming days, and Covid Vaccine Passes expected to be required for entry to sports venues from Wednesday, the club can provide fans with the following update, with new rules expected to be in place for the Wolves match.

We are still awaiting the finer details relating to Plan B, which will be communicated via email ahead of the fixture, but we do expect entry to the Amex to be similar to the process already in place this season, with three important changes.

As the new entry process will be a legal requirement please note failure to comply will mean we will not be able to grant access to the stadium, and tickets will be blocked.

1. All fans aged 18 or over MUST be able to prove their vaccine status or display proof of a negative lateral flow test (taken within 48 hours of the game and shown in the form of an NHS email or text message) and show matching photographic ID. It will be against the law to grant admission to anyone unable to comply with this legal requirement.

2. Fans coming to the game must fill in a pre-match online covid registration form, which will be sent before the Wolves match. For match ticket holders (for home and away matches) this will need to be done ahead of each game they wish attend; it’s likely season-ticket holders will only need to do this once to cover the season. 1901 Club members will need to complete this declaration on behalf of their guests for each membership they own.

3. Face coverings will be required when travelling to and from the stadium on public transport and when moving around all internal areas of the stadium. The only exception will be when eating or drinking. We would also strongly recommend they’re worn inside the stadium bowl at all times.

Thanks to the preparation we’ve done this season and the help we’ve already had from fans with the measures we introduced at the start of the season, these relatively straightforward, but important, changes to the existing entry policy already in place at the Amex should cause minimal inconvenience to fans’ existing matchday routine.

How you can help…

The club will be monitored by government officials to ensure we are complying with the rules, therefore we would ask that to help us ensure that we comply and avoid any restrictions such as cuts to crowd capacity that you help us as follows:

  • Fully read any instructions sent by the club in relation to the new rules. We will share the full details in good time, with all relevant information, so please take your time to read it carefully.
  • Fill in your covid registration in good time. These will be sent by email in due course. Going forward for match ticket purchases this will be sent in the confirmation email at point of purchase, but for any home or away match tickets already bought, we will be sending a retrospective registration to fill in online. So those fans with tickets for away fixtures (already purchased) will need to complete a retrospective form sent by the club.
  • Please be prepared and plan your journey, and we’d ask that you allow ample time, you can help us by arriving a little bit earlier than normal.
  • Please also be patient with our staff while the checks are undertaken, as the vast majority of fans have been all season. While we don’t envisage any significant delays, we will keep queues moving as quickly as possible, but we must ensure the checks are carried out thoroughly.
  • If you are double vaccinated, then download your NHS Covid Vaccine Pass if you haven’t already. Instructions can be found here. The best format for this is to have the pass downloaded to your smart phone wallet. Printed copies will also be accepted and we expect international vaccine passports will also be permissible. However if you don’t have an NHS Covid Vaccine Pass we will share further information on what is permissible as soon as possible, so please check your form of Covid Vaccine Pass is valid.
  • If you’re not double vaccinated, then stock up on a supply of NHS lateral flow tests and if you haven’t already please register your account via the NHS website, using your NHS number.
