Graham Potter's team sit eighth in the Premier League.

Graham Potter had no complaints about his side’s display in the 0-0 draw against Leeds United, describing their performance as ‘fantastic.’

All that was missing for their dominance was a goal, particularly in the first half, and some luck with Leo Trossard, Jakub Moder and Solly March all denied by the woodwork.

“It’s frustrating, but that can happen sometimes in football,” he said. “You’ve got to look at the performance of the players, who were fantastic. We played really well, we created chances. We were brave with how Leeds defended. I am really happy with the way the team played.

Potter: The players gave everything

“If we keep working towards it we will get there – we will be fine, we will score. Sometimes it doesn’t go in and that’s life. There are a lot of positives to take from the game.

“We did well, we created chances and did everything but score. You have to then take the clean sheet and the point.”

Asked about the small number of fans who booed at the end, Potter added, “I don’t understand it but everyone’s entitled to their opinion. I’m proud of the players. We’re eighth in the Premier League and the boys gave everything, but we carry on.”
