Albion welcome Leeds United to the Amex this Saturday.

Please read the following information carefully if you are attending Saturday evening's Premier League match against Leeds United at the Amex.

Covid status checks

The Premier League require fans attending matches to carry some form of COVID-19 certification, and expect clubs to carry out random checks on a proportion of the crowd from gates opening right up to kick-off.

We request, as a condition of entry, that all supporters are able to show their COVID-19 status if spot-checked on arrival.

These spot checks will help the club to ensure that our supporters and staff can be prepared for any change to mandatory entry requirements should they occur in the comings weeks. It is important to remember that these measures can be requested with as little as seven days’ notice.

All match, season and away ticket holders aged 18 and over will need to be able to produce an NHS COVID digital pass (via the NHS App) or an NHS digital pass of a negative lateral flow test alongside photographic ID on request. This also includes evidence if you have been vaccinated abroad – more details here.

It is not recommended to bring paper versions of vaccination cards – Digital passes are now the recommended form of acceptable Covid pass.

You should also continue to ensure that you follow government guidelines and you should not attend if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 (a high temperature, a new, continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste)

We would urge everyone to continue to use their common sense to protect themselves and also fellow supporters and our staff from COVID-19.

We recommend you maintain social distancing where you are able to do so and to wear a face mask in confined areas in and around the stadium, not least because the person in front of you, or to your side, may be more vulnerable.

We have had feedback from many fans concerned about travelling to and from the match by public transport, and it is clear that they would feel much more confident if supporters using trains and buses – including the park-and-ride buses – wore masks for their safety while travelling.

Travel to the Amex

Full travel news for the Albion v Leeds game can be found here – please carefully plan your journey and remember to allow ample time for entry. We would ask fans to arrive early if they can.

Our limited additional parking is can only be booked in advance (no cash sales on the day).

We will be using mobile ticketing for parking this season, and you will need to download the ticket to your phone to show on entry to the relevant car park. In all our car parks, we ask that you reverse into parking bays.

Arriving at the Amex

Fans must wear a face covering at all times when moving around inside the stadium – the only exception is when you are eating or drinking or in your seat. We would also strongly recommend you wear your mask in congested external areas, particularly when queuing.

On arrival at the stadium please ensure you always comply with the requests of our safety and stewarding team. They are there for your safety and the safety of those around you.

We will still be required to carry out our usual stadium entry and security checks ahead of you accessing the turnstile.

We respectfully ask that you do not bring bags to the stadium. If you do so, the maximum permitted size will be A4 (297mm x 210mm). There are no exceptions to the policy and there are no bag storage facilities at the stadium. Any bags left outside the stadium will be removed and disposed of.

  • Stadium Store will open at 1pm (closes at KO and re-opens after final whistle until 8pm) for match attendees only.  Blue Weekend is in operation with 20% off everything in-store (kit excluded, and other t&c’s apply)

Rainbow Laces

All Premier League League clubs will be celebrating Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ inclusion and making it clear that football is for everyone. There will be a pre-match rainbow pyrotechnic display in front of the East Stand, supporters in the lower tier should be aware of loud noises this may make.
