Adam Lallana has played the full 90 minutes in each of Albion's last three Premier League games.

Adam Lallana says Neal Maupay's strong start to the season reflects the work ethic running through the whole squad.

The French striker scored his fourth goal of the season in stoppage time at Selhurst Park on Monday in Albion’s 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace which kept them sixth in the Premier League table, ahead of Saturday's home game against Arsenal.

Lallana said, “Neal has been brilliant for us all season. He’s constantly working hard and is improving all the time. When you do that and sacrifice yourself you get rewarded, and I think we saw that on Monday.

“I think Neal is capable of scoring 15-20 goals a season. But it’s not just him who is improving, everyone in our squad is. I feel that when we go on the pitch at the moment everyone plays for each other and that builds togetherness and allows you to get results even when you’re not at your best.

“I’m lucky to have been in winning squads throughout my career and I feel we are creating that here.”

Albion have won seven points from three away games and scored all their goals against Burnley, Brentford and Palace in the last 20 minutes.

Lallana: Feels like a win

“That’s down to resilience and staying together,” added Lallana. “The Premier League is the strongest it’s ever been in my opinion and there are going to be games when you are outplayed and not at your best, but I really feel we have a strong spine and we don’t concede many, and if you have that you give yourself a great chance.

“The goal on Monday felt like a winner. They did it to us at our place last season and it was great to pay them back, especially with our fans there.”
