Skipper Victoria Williams believes Albion should be setting their sights high when the Barclays FA Women's Super League season kicks off on Sunday.
Albion begin their campaign against West Ham United at the Amex and will be looking to build on sixth last season, the highest finish in the club’s history.
Williams says the squad haven’t set any limit to what they hope to achieve.
“We’ve not looked at setting points targets or things like that as a squad,” said the experienced defender.

“I don’t think we should be setting any parameters or ambitions. If we can be consistent week in week out then who knows what we can achieve.
“Last season we won at Chelsea, beat Manchester United and took points off Manchester City so we know what we’re capable of. It’s just doing it week in, week out.
“We’ve got a good strong group of players and have made some quality additions, so we’re really looking forward to getting started again.”
Albion will play at the Amex for the first time since November 2019 and it will be only the third home game with fans in attendance since February 2019.
It all starts again this weekend. 👊

“Everyone has had a really tough 18 months with the pandemic, and as players we’re fortunate that we’ve been able to carry on training and playing,” added Williams.
“But we have missed the fans because of a big part of the women’s game is interaction with supporters. Hopefully we’ll have a good crowd on Sunday to inspire us and that we can give a performance they will be proud of. We can’t wait for Sunday.”
Tickets for Sunday’s game cost just £5 for adults and £2.50 for under-18s while a family ticket is £10. To buy yours click here.
