Rinsola Babajide said after joining Albion, “I'm really looking forward to the challenge.”

Rinosla Babajide believes working with Hope Powell can help her achieve her ambition to play for England.

The 23-year-old winger has joined the club on a season-long loan from Championship club Liverpool.

Her form with the Merseyside has already earned her a call-up into the England training squad last September and she was part of the England squad that finished third in the Under-20 World Cup in 2018.

“I've got aspirations to play international football and I think that Hope can push me to get to the very top,” she said.

“Knowing Hope's success from when she was manager of England, she knows what it takes to play at the highest level.

“When I knew Brighton were interested in signing me it was a no-brainer, especially with Hope being here and knowing the long-term plans the club have for progressing in the women's game.

“I'm really looking forward to the challenge.”

Babajide is left-footed and normally operates in a wide position. “I love one-v-ones out on the wing and get my crosses in with my left foot,” she said.

“I have come to help the club push on by scoring goals or assisting.”
