Maisie Symonds will join up with England Under-19s this weekend for a training camp.

Albion midfielder Maisie Symonds has signed her first professional contract with the club.

The 18-year-old made her WSL debut in May against Bristol City and her first start for Albion in the 6-0 win over Huddersfield in the FA Cup.

Along with team-mate Libby Bance, she has been called up by England for an under-19 training camp at St George’s Park this weekend.

Head coach Hope Powell said, “Maisie made real progress last season and deserves this opportunity. She trained regularly with the squad and did well when she played at the end of the season.

“She is now on the next step in her journey. She still has a lot to learn but she’s also got a lot to offer and we’re looking forward to seeing her develop.”
