Adam Lallana is enjoying working under Graham Potter.

Graham Potter is of the same ilk as Mauricio Pochettino and Jurgen Klopp according to Adam Lallana.

Speaking in an in-depth interview with MyAlbion TV, the 32-year-old knows his boss wouldn’t like the comparison, but can see the similarities between the three.

“I'm sure Graham wouldn't want me comparing him with Jurgen Klopp or [Mauricio] Pochettino but he's of that ilk, the way he wants to play. Some of the tweaks he makes, he thinks about the game differently – differently to how I think about it but in such a great way.

I am delighted we have had a good couple of results because there have been disappointing moments this year where we feel we haven’t got the points tally we deserve.

“With that then comes pressure, but he has remained a calming influence throughout. He has had our back the whole way and that has been huge because it then keeps us calm.

Lallana's praise for Bruno and Potter

“We don't want to panic, especially playing the style of football the boss wants us to play.”

Potter's approach is something Lallana believes has helped him thrive in an Albion shirt, since his summer move from Liverpool.

“It has been absolutely fantastic. Graham is an unbelievable young manager and it has been superb working with him. I think the style he wants to play suits me down to ground.

“It has probably taken a bit of time for him to learn how I play and how much I need to train.

“I feel at the moment we are in a good place, not just Graham, but the medical team and the sports science team. They are learning about me and my body and how I play and how much I need to train and, as a result of that, probably fine-tuning it perfectly.”
