Robert Sanchez believes last weekend's win over Southampton was the result that Albion needed to get back on track in the Premier League.
Defeats to Crystal Palace, West Brom and Leicester City had seen Albion drop to 17th, but the win over Saints has moved them three points ahead of Fulham and above today's opponents at the Amex, Newcastle United.
He said, “It was a big win, we needed it for our position in the table, but it can also be really good for the mentality of the group.
“It was a match where we knew we could get back on track.
“We were on a good run before the last few weeks. We stuck to our philosophy because we know we're a really good team, we just needed to take our chances. We worked on that and it's great that we got rewarded.”
Adam Lallana and Danny Welbeck both played a big part in the victory along the south coast, and Sanchez says the pair are key for Albion both on and off the field.
“Adam and Danny played really well; they are two top players, and they show that every minute on the field.

“They have loads of experience and that's big for a club with younger players, if we have a question we can always ask and draw on what they have seen and done in the game.
“They have good character in the changing room and they can really help the team and make us all better.”
Newcastle United arrive this Saturday one place behind Albion in the table, and Sanchez knows another good result will be a great way to head into the latest international break as he heads away with the Spanish senior squad for the first time.
“If we can go into the international break with six points from two matches then that would be really positive.
“We've had a good week of training and so we'll go into Saturday ready to fight again.”
