Leandro Trossard expects Albion to head to Southampton with the right mentality despite Saturday’s frustrating defeat to Leicester City.
Albion’s dominant first half performance was rewarded as they took a 1-0 lead thanks to Adam Lallana’s first goal for the club, but they were stung in the second half as the visitors netted twice.
“We played really well in the first half,” Trossard said. “But in the second half we didn’t play our normal game and even though we had some chances, that’s where we lost the game.
“If you play against Leicester City, they will punish you with every chance that they get and it’s a disappointing one for us.

“We have played really well in every game, we’ve had chances but we need to convert them. The confidence won’t drop, everyone knows how we want to play and win games. It’s just disappointing that we can’t get the results at the moment.”
The 26-year-old is confident his teammates can rediscover their winning touch at St Mary’s on Sunday.
“The wins will come like they did last season. We believe in each other and we’re doing the maximum we can.
“We need to pick our heads up and look ahead to Southampton, we will go in with the right mentality.”
