Joel Veltman has been the model professional since his arrival last summer, according to Graham Potter.
The 29-year-old has put in some sterling performances at right wing-back over the last two months, and they have caught the eye of his head coach.
“Joel is intelligent and is always taking something from the game, from the opposition, from how we are playing and learning the differences. He has come to a new country and is adapting incredibly well to the league.
“He's a no-nonsense guy who is low maintenance, a good character and he has been fantastic for us. You don't need to tell him an instruction too many times, he makes really good decisions so we're delighted with him.

“Not only that, but he's played in a lot of positions. He has played a little bit further advanced then we would have wanted him to, but he looks like he is enjoying his football.”
While Potter is delighted with the Dutchman, he is disappointed that Solly March is set to miss the remainder of the campaign after undergoing surgery.
“When you're in the early stages of recovering from an injury, you're just trying to set a target that is safe and Solly is looking at pre-season.
“You never know because things can progress quickly, but the reality is I would be surprised if he is back this season.”
