Brighton & Hove Albion have four professional e-sports players in their ranks for tonight’s ePremier League club playoff

Luca Schilder Xbox and Milan Looper (Playstation) are both flying the flag for Albion in this year’s ePL tournament in association with the club's e-sports partner Bundled.

Schilder said, “I’m very excited to represent Brighton in the ePremier League, it's a big club in the best league in the world.

“I know a bit of the history of Brighton and have watched a lot of their matches, so I am familiar with their players and the team's strengths.

“I like to play an attacking style on FIFA, and I'll do everything I can to represent Brighton to the best of my ability.”

Milan Looper is equally buoyant about the chance to represent the club.

He said, “I've always admired all of the teams in the Premier League. A few Dutch players have played at Brighton like Davy Propper, Jurgen Locadia and Joel Veltman.

“Since they moved to the club, I watched many matches from Brighton, and they play good football.

“My type of play is to pass the ball quickly in the opponent's half and the fans can expect me to do my best to get as far as I can.”

Meanwhile, SAF 1mpactZ (PlayStation), and MarcMarleyyy (Xbox) have also achieved success around the ePremier League competition.

One of SAF 1mpactZ’s recent competitions saw him finish in the top 8 in the eLions Eliminator tournament.

He said, “To finish in the top 8 in eLions was good for me, but I feel I could have done even better on another day!

“I lost to Manchester City's Ryan Pessoa 6-5 in a close game, so if the margins had gone my way it could have easily been a different outcome.”

“My preparation for the competition itself has been good, playing against the top players from around England in practice games has given me a good standard to play at consistently.

“l learnt a lot from the eLions broadcast which I can take into future competitions.”

SAF 1mpactZ has been playing FIFA for around 11 years but has only been playing competitively since the end of the FIFA 19 title.

His first major competition success was last year where he won the Brighton ePremier League playoffs and finished in the top 14 in the finals – he is expecting another tough task this time around.

“The level of competition is quite high this year with Brighton. There are a few very good players, so I'm expecting it to be difficult, but I’m confident in my ability.”

MarcMarleyyy has made it to the top 6 in this year’s FIFA Global Series qualifiers, meaning he will go on to compete in the second half of the series.

“I'm really proud of my global series ranking, not just on this FIFA, but on FIFA 19 and 20 too.

“I've managed to climb the rankings year after year, and I've put myself in a really good position so far going into the second half of the season.

“It would mean a lot to me to get the chance to represent Brighton in the ePL.

“I think having the chance to represent any football team through FIFA is always a great thing and I hope I can manage to do that with Brighton.”
