Brighton & Hove Albion’s FA Women’s Super League and Premier League seasons both come to an end this weekend, as Hope Powell’s and Chris Hughton’s sides sign off their respective campaigns.
SATURDAY 11TH MAY: WEST HAM UNITED WOMEN V ALBION, KICK-OFF 12.30PM
Albion play their final match of the campaign against beaten SSE Women’s FA Cup finalists West Ham United at Rush Green on Saturday, kick-off 12.30pm.
Powell’s side sit ninth with 13 points from 19 games, and will finish in that position if they match Everton’s result away at Liverpool.
The Seagulls head into the game after a 4-0 defeat to newly-crowned champions Arsenal, as the club set a league attendance record of 5,265 fans for the game at the Amex on 28th April.
Tickets for Saturday’s game can be bought via West Ham’s ticket website, with prices starting at £2 for an under-16 general admission standing ticket.
SUNDAY 12TH MAY: ALBION V MANCHESTER CITY, KICK-OFF 3PM
The eyes of the world will be on the Amex this Sunday, when title-chasing Manchester City head to the south coast looking for the win they need to claim a second Premier League title in as many seasons.
Albion are the last obstacle for Pep Guardiola’s side, who need to match Liverpool’s result against Wolves at Anfield to finish in top spot.
Hughton’s men head into the game on the back of a hard-fought draw away at Arsenal after their Premier League status was confirmed for another season on Saturday.
