Former managing director of Porsche, Lamborghini and BMW Kevin Gaskell, will be the guest speaker at the next Network Albion Business Club networking breakfast on Thursday 6th June.
Kevin was appointed managing director of Porsche GB at the age of 32. In five years, his team rebuilt the brand and turned a business close to bankruptcy into the UK’s most profitable car company.
He then moved to BMW as UK managing director where he led the company to four years of record growth and a 500% increase in profitability. As a result, he was recognised as one of the ‘top 40 leaders’ in the UK.
He left BMW to create a dotcom, epyx Limited. Quickly becoming the market leader for automotive e-commerce, the company was sold to an institutional investor and is now a global enterprise.
In parallel he was also CEO of EurotaxGlass’s in Switzerland where his team integrated 30 businesses to create a world leader in electronic automotive data before he led a €500 million sale of the company. Now he acts as chairman to a number of growing companies, a number of which he has founded. One of his companies was recognised as the UK’s best private equity investment performance of the year.
Today, alongside his international speaking schedule, he chairs three businesses and is very familiar with issues SME's are facing. Kevin will provide his thoughts on the business landscape, leadership and also reveal details about his Ocean5 project, where he and four others will put their bodies, minds and souls to the ultimate test by taking on one of the world’s greatest physical challenges, rowing unaided for 3000 miles across the unforgiving Atlantic Ocean.
Over 130 delegates are due to attend the Amex to network with other like-minded businesses, enjoy a delicious breakfast, get an exclusive update from Albion personnel and hear a 20-minute guest talk from Kevin.
Hosted by Albion’s Business Club Partner, Network My Club, the networking event takes place on Thursday 6th June, 8.30am-10.30am - click here to secure one of the last few spaces.
