Brighton & Hove Albion winger Anthony Knockaert has been shortlisted for the Carling Premier League Goal of the Season award, after his match-winning strike against Crystal Palace in March.

The Frenchman’s fine effort gave the Seagulls a vital 2-1 victory over Roy Hodgson’s side at Selhurst Park and after winning the March Goal of the Month award, he has been shortlisted for the season accolade.

The Albion man has been chosen alongside the other eight Goal of the Month winners across the 2018/19 campaign: Jean Michael Seri, Daniel Sturridge, Aaron Ramsey, Son Heung-min, Andros Townsend, Andre Schurrle, Fabian Schar and Eden Hazard.
