Brighton & Hove Albion supporters can now enter their nominations for the 2018/19 James Brynin Fan of the Season Award.
Preparations for the annual Players’ Awards Dinner, in partnership with American Express, are underway and we are looking for your suggestions for this year’s stand-out Albion supporter.
The award is named after L/Cpl James Brynin, who lost his life while on military service in Afghanistan in 2013, and recognises a Seagulls fan who has gone above and beyond in their support of the club.
Last year’s trophy was collected by Ken Valder, who is a Here to Help matchday volunteer at the Amex and a life-long Seagulls supporter who was part of the loyal fanbase that followed the club during their two-year exile in Gillingham.
Supporters simply need to e-mail with their nominations along with an explanation of why their choice is deserving of the award. The closing date for nominations is midnight on Wednesday 6th March.
Other awards at the gala dinner will include: Player of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season, Goal of the Season, Women’s Player of the Season, Women’s Goal of the Season, the Albion in the Community Award, the American Express Elite Performance Award and the Sarah Watts Inspiration Award.
