Dan Hilliard and Ryan Caister represented the club at the ePremier League tournament.

Brighton & Hove Albion’s representatives in the ePremier League tournament, taking place at the Gfinity arena in London, both exited the tournament in the group stages of the inaugural tournament.

Dan Hilliard competed in the morning session on PS4 in Group A, coming up against Manchester United, Crystal Palace, Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Despite several close matches, including a 3-3 draw against Wolves and a narrow 4-3 defeat to AFC Bournemouth, Dan was knocked out in the group stages.

Ryan Caister, competing on Xbox, was in Group B against representatives from West Ham United, AFC Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur. Unfortunately it was a similar story for Caister, who despite a narrow 3-2 defeat to West Ham United and 4-3 against AFC Bournemouth, also exited at the group stage.

"It has been a great experience and just getting as far as the finals is something I never expected to achieve. The messages of support have been much appreciated and I look forward to being at the Amex on Saturday to get behind the team in our important Premier League match against Southampton”.

Both players earned the opportunity to represent the Albion in the inaugural ePremier League competition via the online qualification and club play-off event at the Amex.

The final day of the ePremier League finals takes place today, and can be watched on the Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Mix channels.
