Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Sophie Harris has been named the PFA Bristol Street Fans’ FAWSL Player of the Month for February.
The Seagulls shot-stopper won the fan vote for the award, after beating off competition from Beth England (Chelsea), Ji So-yun (Chelsea), Alisha Lehmann (West Ham United), Demi Stokes (Manchester City) and Keira Walsh (Manchester City), to claim the award.
Harris played in both of Albion’s games in February, as she made a string of fine saves in the goalless draw away at Bristol City before putting in another accomplished display in the impressive 2-1 win over Birmingham City.
The 24-year-old has made a total of seven appearances for Albion since joining from London Bees in July.
