Travel Information Ahead Of Huddersfield

By James Hilsum • 28 February 2019

Brighton & Hove Albion supporters are being advised of the following important travel information ahead of the Premier League fixture against Huddersfield Town at the Amex on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.

All supporters are asked to head to the stadium as early as possible regardless of how they are travelling.

Trains: Southern Rail have informed the club that they will be operating an enhanced service for this match on the line that services Falmer, however please note that there will be a bus replacement service operating between Three Bridges and both Lewes and Brighton respectively, and all supporters are advised to check with Southern’s website prior to travelling.

Park & Rides: Both Brighton Racecourse & Mill Road will be open from 12pm.

Car Parks: All parking at both the Bridge (Car Park B) and at Sussex University (Car Park C) has now sold out, and there will be no cash sales on the day.

All vehicles accredited to park at the University of Sussex must enter via Stanmer Park, as there will be no entry at Falmer or Knights Gate.

Village Way will be extremely busy and congested, and supporters are advised to avoid this area both pre and post-match, unless they have pre-booked parking.

Buses: Brighton & Hove Buses will be operating a full Saturday service within our Travel Scheme, therefore free travel is available to supporters on production of a match ticket, but please check  the club’s ticket website for areas within the bus travel scheme.

Parking: There is no local street parking available for football supporters, as all areas have a residents’ parking scheme in operation, and enforcement officers will be on patrol.

Seagull Travel: Seagull Travel will be running their usual matchday services from various locations, and spaces are available to pre-book via their website.

Drop-offs & Pick-ups: There will be no pick-ups or drop-offs along Village Way, or at Woollard Way (entrance to the Bridge car park), and supporters are advised to use the official drop off and pick up point located at University of Sussex, which is in car park 5, located by the Sports Hall.

This drop-off/pick-up point is a short walk through the underpass to the Amex Stadium. There is also a free shuttle bus in operation.
