Brighton & Hove Albion winger Solly March says the side must learn from their mistakes heading into Saturday’s crucial Premier League fixture against Huddersfield Town.
March emphasised the need to take the game to the Terriers, and how a good atmosphere at the Amex Stadium could help the team over the line.
He said, "Every game is important, but we know Huddersfield is a big one for us.
"They are a good side on their day, we know that. They play good football, but we need to be up for it and not concede sloppy goals.
"If we do that on Saturday, then I think we'll be fine. We need to come out of the traps quickly; and I'm sure the fans will get behind us and hopefully we can be confident of getting three points."
Tuesday night’s defeat at Leicester City means Albion are still waiting for their first league win of 2019, but March explained there is more than enough time to recover from a patchy run of form.
"There are 11 games left, that's almost a third of the season. We've got a lot of games left, and ones that, if you looked at them before this run, you would be confident of picking up points.
"We need to be confident and play our game. I think the results and points will come."
March feels this season has been his best from a personal perspective, and has welcomed Jose Izquierdo’s return from injury to add to the competition on both flanks.
"I think so [best season]. I've played more minutes than I ever have before, and I think I have been helping the team too. I just need to add goals to my game. I keep saying it, but that's what I need to do."
"Everyone's fit, that's what you want. You want competition. It brings out the best in everyone. Hopefully I get another chance on Saturday."
