This weekend saw the third ‘Premier League Mornings Live’ event take place at the Cask ’n Flagon bar in Boston, as more than 12,000 supporters attended to watch their Premier League sides compete during the two-day festival.
Brighton & Hove Albion mascot Gully was in attendance at the event, which was broadcasted live on NBC Sports, joining a collection of Seagulls supporters at the Cask ’n Flagon — in the shadow of Boston Red Sox stadium Fenway Park.
Thursday evening saw Gully visit New Hampshire soccer club Seacoast United, who have made a number of trips to Brighton in recent years, giving their soccer players the opportunity to play matches at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre.
Gully prepared for the weekend event by joining fellow Premier League mascots from Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Watford and Wolverhampton Wanderers for a Duck Tour of Boston.
But that was only the start of an exciting day — Gully joined Boston Celtics mascot Lucky the Leprechaun on court for their NBA game against the Indiana Pacers on Friday evening.
There was an early start for Gully on Saturday, as the NBC Sports show, hosted by Rebecca Lowe and analysts Robbie Earle, Kyle Martino and Robbie Mustoe, began at 7.30am in the morning, before showing the seven live Premier League matches.
Albion supporters arrived in their numbers, including an impressive contingent from Seacoast United, to watch Albion’s match against Southampton and enjoy numerous Premier League-themed activities.
