Brighton & Hove Albion return to the Broadfield Stadium this afternoon, as they face Manchester City, kick-off 2pm.
Hope Powell’s side head into the match on the back of claiming their first point of the season in last weekend’s thrilling comeback against Everton.
Captain Dani Buet had put the Seagulls ahead in the third minute with a fantastic 25-yard strike, before Everton hit back with three goals to give the hosts a commanding lead.
Albion’s fighting spirit and determination meant that the game was never over and on the 75 minute mark, substitute Ellie Brazil nodded in from close range before scoring an almost carbon copy just three minutes later to complete the comeback.
Meanwhile, today’s visitors will be heading into the match full of confidence following a 7-1 thumping of league newcomers West Ham United.
City were already 3-0 up at half-time before goals from Georgia Stanway (2), Steph Houghton and Tessa Wullaert completed the rout.
Last weekend’s results mean that Albion remain in tenth place in the table, but now have a one point advantage over bottom placed team Yeovil Town, whilst Manchester City sit in third place, one point off top spot.
Albion supporters can follow the action from the game on the club’s official Twitter feed, with a report being uploaded after the full-time whistle.
