ALBION ENCOURAGE FANS TO SUPPORT NON-LEAGUE DAY

11 October 2018

With Brighton & Hove Albion not in action on Saturday due to the international break, the club’s fans are urged to show their support towards local football teams, as Non League Day returns for a ninth year.

Set up by James Doe in 2010, Non-League Day has grown ever since, as EFL and Premier League clubs get behind the idea of encouraging their supporters to visit local games and get a taste for non-league football.

Non-League Day has also partnered with Prostate Cancer UK to encourage clubs and fans to raise funds to stop the disease which kills one man every 45 minutes.

Various clubs across Sussex are reducing ticket prices on Saturday — such as Burgess Hill Town offering entry for just £1 and free for under-18s — whilst also organising a host of activities at their respective matches.

Elsewhere, Whitehawk are offering adults £5 entry to their Bostik Premier Division game against Brightlingsea Regent and supporters with an EFL or Premier League season ticket can attend Eastbourne Borough’s home game against Torquay United for the same price.

From Horsham’s FA Trophy fixture against Ware at Culver Road to Worthing’s Bostik Premier Division game against Kingstonian, there are plenty of matches to watch across Sussex this weekend.

Albion supporters can visit www.nonleagueday.co.uk to find a game to attend, and beneath are a selection of matches that could take your fancy, with the respective postcode for where the game is being played.
