Brighton and Hove Albion’s second-round Sussex Senior Cup tie against Lewes will now take place on Wednesday 21st November at the Dripping Pan, kick-off 7.45pm.
The match was originally scheduled for Wednesday 7th November, but after heavy rainfall throughout Sussex on that day, the contest was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Simon Rusk’s team will look to progress to the third round and take their first step towards retaining the trophy they have won in both of the last two seasons.
Any tickets bought online for the first fixture will be valid. Contact has been made to all online ticket holders with a message about how to claim refunds if unable to attend the rescheduled game.
The winner at the Dripping Pan will visit Hastings United in the third round of the competition, with the game set to be played on or before Wednesday 5th December.
