Albion in the Community are currently recruiting for a community coach to join their football pathway department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated football coach to join an award winning charity who through the power of football, are committed to delivering high quality, accessible opportunities that improve the health and wellbeing, education and aspirations of our community. We are looking for an absolute professional, who is passionate about sport, to support the development officer in the day-to-day operation of the football pathway programmes in East Sussex on a one year fixed term contract.

This is a full-time role of 35 hours per week with 25 – 30 of these weekly hours to be spent delivering high quality sessions. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidates will need to be flexible with working hours to include some weekend and evening work. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work at our world-class stadium, The American Express Community Stadium in Brighton as well as various locations across East Sussex.

This is a brand new role within the charity that will require candidates to have a minimum of a FA Level 2 in Coaching Football qualification. Preferably, applicants will have or be working towards the UEFA ‘B’ coaching qualification. Successful applicants must also hold a valid FA Emergency Aid Certificate, FA Safeguarding Children Certificate and a valid and accepted enhanced FA DBS CRC (Criminal Background Check) or be willing to undertake this check if successful. Preferably, candidates will have their FA Youth Award Modules 1 – 3.
