By James Hilsum • 30 November 2018

Brighton & Hove Albion are encouraging fans to shop small on Small Business Saturday, Saturday 1st December.

The club is supporting the initiative, which encourages consumers to shop at their local independent retailers.

American Express is also incentivising its Cardmembers to support local businesses through its Shop Small offer.

When American Express Cardmembers spend £10 or more with an eligible American Express Card at participating small businesses between 1st – 16th December 2018, they will receive a £5 statement credit (once per location). Visit amexshopsmall.co.uk for more information.

Albion fans will be able to take advantage of the offer at the club superstore, and ticket office, along with a host of other business in Brighton & Hove. A selection are listed below.

Pick up your coffee at: Small Batch Coffee, 17 Jubilee Street. They started off as a small, family run business and don’t just serve coffee, they help to produce it, they roast it too.

Enjoy a pint at: Waggon & Horses, 109 Church Street. If you fancy something a bit stronger than a pint, the Waggon & Horses has a good selection of single malts, whisky, bourbon and rum.

A quick bite to eat at: Fatto a Mano, 25 Gloucester Road. At this pizzeria they make their pizza dough on site every day and cook every pizza in their wood fired over at 450+ degrees.
