Fantasy Premier League: Murray And Gross In Demand

By Alex Stedman • 07 March 2018

Brighton & Hove Albion duo Glenn Murray and Pascal Gross have both been performing well for the Seagulls in recent weeks – and their form has resulted in Fantasy Premier League managers moving quickly to secure the pair.

Both the forward and the midfielder are in the top ten for players being transferred into sides during the upcoming Gameweek ahead of the Seagulls’ trip to Everton on Saturday.

Murray stands third in the division – costing £5.8m in attack. He’s scored six goals in his last six matches in all competitions, and has been transferred into over 40,000 sides following another goal against Arsenal last Sunday in the Premier League.

Only Leroy Sane and Heung-Min Son of Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have been brought into more teams around the world.

Gross has been selected in 17.8% of sides across the game, accumulating 133 points so far and he’s selected in over 27,000 teams by Fantasy Premier League managers.

The German has been involved in a goal every 173 minutes for the Seagulls and has three assists in his last four starts.

Gross’s price has risen by a figure of £0.4m to £5.9m, the eighth highest increase across the division – and the 26-year-old also has 21 bonus points so far this campaign – putting him seventh in that table.

The combination of Gross to Murray has seen four goals so far this term – the third highest combination in the division.
