Brighton & Hove Albion’s 2017/18 campaign is on course to see the club record it’s highest-ever average crowd figures.

The Amex has been a happy hunting ground for Albion’s debut season in the Premier League, with the side both winning and drawing six of their opening 15 matches on the south coast.

Leicester City are the next opponents on Saturday 31st March (3pm) – a game which has also sold out.

The average attendance at the Amex for Premier League matches is currently 30,351 - compared to last season's 27,995 in the Sky Bet Championship - and so far, over 450,000 supporters have seen Albion in action this season.

The game at home to Liverpool at the beginning of December attracted a season high of 30,634 spectators.

Meanwhile, Albion’s last outing against Arsenal was the 12th time that over 30,000 people had watched the Seagulls this season on home soil, and the sixth top-flight game in a row that the attendance had gone beyond that figure.

Chief Executive, Paul Barber said: "It's fantastic to see that we're breaking attendance records during our first season in the Premier League.

"To be on course for a total crowd figure of over half a million people after our next two home matches shows both the progress we have made as a club this season, as well as the superb loyalty of our supporters.

"We've had a good season so far - but the job is not finished yet, and we're looking forward to welcoming fans back to the Amex after the international break for the vital games against Leicester City and Huddersfield.”
