By Kieran Cleeves • 26 July 2018

Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-23s will welcome Liverpool to the south coast for their opening fixture of the Premier League 2 season, before coming up against Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium respectively.

Simon Rusk’s team open their season against the Reds at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre on Friday 10th August, prior to consecutive visits to north London towards the end of the month.

The Seagulls visit the Emirates Stadium on Monday 20th August and visit Tottenham Hotspur’s brand new home on Monday 27th August, as Spurs use the fixture as their first Test Event ahead of the first team’s arrival.

Manchester City visit the Broadfield Stadium four days later on Friday 31st August, and the Seagulls play their first game at the Amex Stadium on Friday 14th September against West Ham United.

Rusk’s side then make trips to Leicester City and Derby County across September and October, before Albion’s second fixture at the Amex on Friday 19th October, as Blackburn Rovers travel south.

Albion finish October with a game against Chelsea at Aldershot FC, before opening November with a game against Everton at the Broadfield Stadium and a visit to Swansea City’s Landore Training Centre.

Leicester City’s visit to the Broadfield Stadium on Monday 10th December is Albion’s first reverse fixture of the campaign, before the month closes with an away fixture against West Ham.

The Seagulls play their reverse fixtures against Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City across January and February, with Rusk’s young side visiting the City Football Academy.

Derby County and Blackburn Rovers are the opponents in March, with Albion’s penultimate home fixture of the season coming on Friday 5th April against Swansea City at the Amex Stadium.

Albion’s final away game sees them travel to Everton on Monday 15th April, before the season comes to a close against Chelsea at the Broadfield Stadium on Monday 29th April.
