Fantasy Premier League: Albion Picks

By Kieran Cleeves • 27 July 2018

With the Premier League season just over two weeks away, Brighton & Hove Albion supporters can now select the club’s stars in their Fantasy Premier League teams for the upcoming campaign.

Pascal Gross finished last season as Albion’s top points scorer (164) ahead of Mathew Ryan (146). The German was a favourite with fans across the Premier League - proving good value for money.

Glenn Murray’s 12 goals in the Premier League landed him with 111 points at the end of the season, marginally ahead of Jose Izquierdo (101) and Shane Duffy (100).

With the Seagulls making numerous signings ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, Albion supporters will be able to call upon the club’s newest arrivals at reasonable prices.

David Button and Jason Steele are both priced at £4m, while defensive pairing Leon Balogun and Bernardo come in slightly more expensive at £4.5m.

Yves Bissouma can be purchased at just £5m for his debut season in the Premier League, with Florin Andone also available for the same price - £1.5m cheaper than last season’s top goalscorer Murray.

Club-record signing Alireza Jahanbakhsh is also available for £7m after the wide man finished as top scorer in the Dutch top flight for AZ Alkmaar last term, scoring 21 goals in the process.

The Seagulls get their league season off to a start against Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday 11th August, before welcoming Manchester United to the Amex Stadium eight days later.
