Travel Disruption Tomorrow

12 January 2018

Brighton & Hove Albion fans heading to Saturday’s Premier League game against West Bromwich Albion, are advised of the following travel disruption taking place.

A-one+ Integrated Highways Services, on behalf of Highways England, will be carrying out some resurfacing work on the northbound section of the M23 between junction 10 (Copthorne) and junction 9 (Gatwick).

As a result, a full road closure will be in place on this London-bound section of the motorway between 10pm on Friday evening and 4am on Monday morning.

Clearly signed diversion routes will be in place during the road closure, and the alternative routes are suitable for all types of vehicles.

The southbound carriageway will remain unaffected during these works, and will be accessible as usual.

The M23 southbound carriageway will not be closed during these works and all Gatwick Airport traffic will be able to exit at junction 9 or continue southbound towards Brighton as usual.

For up-to-date information about these closures, please check the Highways England website, which shows all planned works on their roads.
