Brighton & Hove Albion are excited to announce a new partnership with technology company Pogoseat, allowing season-ticket holders to move their seats in real-time for an upcoming match.
Albion's head of ticketing and supporter services Jenny Gower commented, "Our partnership with Pogoseat will offer season-ticket holders a great opportunity to try different seats and viewing areas here at the Amex and we hope our fans will enjoy using it.
"This new system will allow supporters to change seats and purchase 1901
seating with lounge access in real-time on their mobile phones, taking the pro-rata cost of their season ticket seat off the cost of the new replacement ticket.
"The new ticket barcode will be available to scan at the corporate reception, directly from the mobile phone, which we hope will be a popular service to our season-ticket holders."
Pogoseat has operated with multiple teams and venues across North America since the company was founded in 2012 . The technology is first of its kind and has been proven to be very popular amongst fans across the NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL and MLS. The Amex Stadium will be the first of many venues across the UK and Europe to provide fans with real-time offers such as seat moves.
Kiran Patel, CEO of Pogoseat, added, "We are thrilled to be partnering with a club who are as highly innovative in their approach to mobile technology as we are.
"This season is an exciting time to launch with Brighton & Hove Albion and as football fans ourselves, it is our mission to provide Albion supporters with the ability to optimise their match day experience at the Amex."
The new service will also be available directly through seagullstickets.com/seatmove and will launch on 21st February.
