Aitc Valentine's Day Auction

14 February 2018

Brighton & Hove Albion fans are being asked to show their love for Albion in the Community this Valentine’s Day by bidding in an online auction.

AITC is raising money to help fund its work across Sussex, including the growing number of football sessions it now runs for people with a disability.

These sessions take place throughout the county and are regularly attended by around 300 people.

Each session costs upwards of £1,800 a year to run, and so AITC is hoping Seagulls fans show their support for its work by taking part in its latest online auction.

Up for grabs are match-issued shirts signed by Davy Propper, José Izquierdo and Anthony Knockaert. Fans can also bid on one of Lewis Dunk’s football boots from the club’s promotion season, a framed signed Leo Ulloa shirt from his first spell at the club, a framed signed home shirt presented to AITC after the Everton game earlier this season, and a fantastic framed pair of shirts from Albion’s pre-season friendly with Atlético de Madrid.

The Albion and Atlético shirts have been signed by each squad and appear alongside each other in a frame. The Propper, Izquierdo and Knockaert shirts are the black third kit from this season and are offered unframed.

Each auction will run until the end of February and money raised will help fund AITC’s award-winning work, with the different items being added to the auction site over the next 24 hours.

Matt Dorn, AITC’s chief executive officer, said, “As always we are incredibly grateful to the players and the club for their continued support and for donating these items for our auction.

“Hopefully fans will take the opportunity to bid on these items and show their love for AITC.”
