We are looking for hardworking and flexible individuals to join our pool of drivers. You will be 21 years of age or older and will have a clean driving licence with at least two years’ driving experience. Preferably, you will have experience of driving a minibus and transporting school-age children. Ideally, you will hold a Driver CPC qualification and a recognised first aid certificate, although full training can be given.
This role requires you to live in Lancing or the surrounding area, where our world-class training ground is based. You will be flexible with working hours, which will include evenings and weekends.
Our academy operates seven days per week during the football season, often late into the evening. This role will involve frequent runs to London Airports and drivers must be comfortable with helping boys with limited English with the checking-in procedure. From time-to-time, drivers will be expected to help with first team driving duties, often at short notice. If successful, you will be required to undertake an Enhanced FA DBS (CRC/CRB) check and the Club’s safeguarding training.
