TICKET TOUT WARNING REMINDER

29 September 2017

The Amex Stadium

Brighton & Hove Albion are actively reminding fans that the best place to securely purchase tickets for home and away matches this season is at seagullstickets.com - and are warning against using unauthorised ticket re-sellers.

Supporters are reminded that valid tickets for Brighton and Hove Albion matches can only be purchased directly from the club, and for matches on general sale. For selected games, a small allocation may also be made available to purchase through Ticketmaster. These will be only ever be sold at face value.

This follows from the club’s statement back in August surrounding the issue, when tickets for the opening two away matches started to appear for re-sale on various unauthorised websites and on social media - after the club’s first two away matches in the Premier League were announced as sell-outs.

If you pay more than face value or have bought from a tout or an online ticket agency, your ticket will be invalid, and you are likely to be refused entry to the stadium or ejected.

If you have any concerns about tickets you have purchased, please email supporter.services@bhafc.co.uk so that we can investigate the matter further.

Since the start of the 2017/18 season, the club has seen nearly 250 supporters banned for ticket touting and at our most recent match against Newcastle United, nearly 100 supporters found themselves unable to enter the stadium having purchased invalid tickets from touts.

The unauthorised sale of football tickets is a criminal offence under UK law.

If you are looking to purchase tickets for Brighton & Hove Albion matches, it is strongly recommended that you purchase Bronze or Young Seagulls PLUS membership in order to give yourself a level of home ticket priority where you can buy face value tickets directly from seagullstickets.com.
