IMPORTANT TRAVEL UPDATE FOR NEWCASTLE MATCH

Ahead of Brighton & Hove Albion’s Premier League fixture against Newcastle United at the Amex on Sunday, here is some important travel information.
 
Trains: Southern Rail have informed Albion they are running a full matchday service, however due to engineering works on the line between Littlehampton and Brighton, this section of line will be closed and Southern are running a bus replacedent service. 



You are advised to check with Southern’s website before travelling.
 
Contingency Shuttle Service: The club has arranged a park/walk up shuttle service with Sainsbury’s at West Hove, however all parking spaces have now been booked, and we have limited walk-up bus seats available. 


All walk-up spaces must be pre-booked on the club’s website.
 
Park & Rides: Mill Road, Brighton University at Lewes Road and Brighton Racecourse will be open at 1pm.
 
Car Parks: The Bridge (Car Park B) and Sussex University (Car Park C) have now completely sold out, and there will be no cash sales on the day.


All vehicles entering Sussex University must enter via Stanmer Park, as there will be no entry at Falmer or Knights Gate.
 
Seagull Travel: Additional buses have been secured through Seagull Travel and spaces are available to pre-book via the Seagull Travel website.
 
Drop-offs & pick-ups after the match: There will be no pick-ups or drop-offs along Village Way. Car park 5 at Sussex University by the Sports Hall is being utilised to enable fans to be dropped off and picked up before and after the match. This drop off /pick up point is a short walk through the underpass to the Amex stadium.

There is also free shuttle buses in operation. To enter Sussex University you must enter via Stanmer Park, as there will be no access via Falmer or Knights Gate.
 
Please note: Village Way will be extremely busy and congested, and unless you have pre-booked parking, please avoid this area both pre and post-match. Please also be aware that Brighton & Hove Bus Company have closed the bus stops along Village Way from 5pm to 6.30pm, however the bus stops on the A27 by Falmer station will remain open.
 
Other: Please note that wherever possible, all fans are advised to get to the stadium as early as possible regardless of how they are travelling.
