Bethany Roe in action against Millwall Lionesses.

With another international break upon us, Brighton & Hove Albion’s Beth Roe and Sophia Pharoah received good news as they were handed call-ups to England’s under-18 squad for a training camp and upcoming match.

The pair will link up with the rest of the squad at England’s national training base, St George’s Park, towards the end of November, where they’ll work under the guidance of Head Coach Emma Coates.

Roe has attracted attention with a number of eye-catching displays for Albion’s first team in the FA Women’s Super League 2 this season, which has earned a first call-up to England’s under-18 squad.

Pharoah has already featured in England's under-18 squad, after also playing for lower age groups, and she now has the chance to impress further and cement her place in the team.

The training camp will last four days and involve a competitive match, before the players return to home.

But first, Albion have one last game before a long break, with Sheffield FC Ladies the visitors to Culver Road on Sunday afternoon.

Albion supporters can still purchase tickets for the game, either online or on the day, with under-16s able to attend the match for just £1.
