Brighton & Hove Albion under-23 striker Jordan Maguire-Drew, who is currently on loan at Lincoln City, has been shortlisted for the Checkatrade Trophy Player of the Round award.
The 20-year-old bagged a brace for the Imps as they sealed a 2-1 victory over Everton’s under-21s at Sincil Bank, which moved Danny Cowley’s team onto six points from two games in Northern Group G.
Maguire-Drew slotted home in the third minute from close range to put Lincoln ahead, before adding a spectacular second to double their lead, as he curled a free-kick into the top corner from 25 yards.
