A number of Brighton & Hove Albion’s loanees were in action over the weekend, with Bailey Vose’s clean sheet for Eastbourne Borough the pick of the action.

The under-23 goalkeeper, who’s impressed for the Sports since joining on loan, was on the winning side in the Vanarama National League South, as they sealed a narrow 1-0 victory at Hungerford Town.

After scoring twice in the Checkatrade Trophy, Jordan Maguire-Drew returned to Lincoln City’s starting line-up in League Two, but the Imps could only draw 0-0 with Crawley Town, with the attacker being replaced in the 71st minute.

Oliver Norwood made his 14th league appearance for Fulham on Saturday afternoon, and the Irishman was almost on the losing side, before Tom Cairney’s 94th-minute goal that rescued a 1-1 draw against Bolton Wanderers.

Ben White completed another 90 minutes for Newport County, but the Exiles were well beaten by League Two’s league leaders Notts County, as the Magpies romped to a 3-0 win at Meadow Lane.

Rohan Ince was on the wrong side of a 1-0 scoreline for Bury against Doncaster Rovers, while Richie Towell played 53 minutes in Rotherham United’s disappointing 3-1 home defeat to Gillingham.
