New deals have been signed by five under-23 players.
Five Brighton & Hove Albion under-23 players have committed their immediate futures to the club ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
Defenders Ben Barclay and George Cox and midfielders Dessie Hutchison and Will Collar have each had their existing contracts extended by a year. Goalkeeper Billy Collings will sign a new one-year contract.
Meanwhile, five players have left the club. Connor Tighe, Dylan Barnett, Joe Ward, Tom Cadman and Vahid Hambo have not been offered new deals.
Academy manager John Morling said, “We are delighted to have extended Ben, Dessie and Will's contracts by another year.
“They have all managed to establish themselves in Simon Rusk’s squad over the past three seasons.
“George stepped up from the under-18s this season, and acquitted himself very well; Billy arrived here at January and we are looking forward to seeing him develop here.
“As always, there are players that will be leaving us, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Connor, Dylan, Tom, Joe and Vahid for all of their hard work.
“On behalf of everyone at the club, I wish them all the very best for the future.”
