Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-18s drew 1-1 away against Reading on Saturday.
Luis Garcia gave Albion the lead inside the opening 14 minutes, but Ben House levelled the scoreline four minutes into the second half.
Albion scored with their first attack of the game, as Garcia played a short corner to Danny Mandroiu and saw his cross-shot creep past everyone and go in at the far post.
House sent James Nolan through on goal, but his cut-back across the box was cleared by Rian O’Sullivan and prevented Daniel Loader from an easy tap in.
Garcia and Mandroiu both had long-range strikes in a bid to double Albion’s advantage, but didn’t trouble Royals keeper James Hillson.
