Brighton & Hove Albion striker Bronwen Thomas has been named in the Wales women’s national team squad for two upcoming friendlies against the Netherlands.

Manager Jayne Ludlow will play both an A and B team to face the Dutch in Rotterdam, with the A team’s match taking place on Saturday 8th July, while the B team are in action on Sunday 9th July.

Thomas had another impressive season at international level after receiving the Welsh under-17 Player of the Year Award last month. The youngster was also Albion’s joint top scorer in the 2017 FAWSL Spring Series, scoring three goals in nine games.

Meanwhile, Albion defender Amelia Ritchie is currently away with the Wales under-19 squad on a four-day training camp in Cardiff that finishes on Friday.

The new FAWSL2 season begins in September, and further information including fixture information and ticket details, will be announced on brighton&hovealbion.com in due course.
