Brighton & Hove Albion and fellow promoted sides - Newcastle United and Huddersfield Town - could have a big role to play in the race for the Premier League title, as all three teams face one of last season’s top six on the final day.

The Seagulls end their 2017/18 Premier League campaign against Liverpool at Anfield, while the Magpies welcome Chelsea to St James’ Park and the Terriers host Arsenal at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Huddersfield’s final four games of the season carry a similar pattern to Albion’s, with David Wagner’s team facing three of last season’s top six - Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal - in their last four matches.

Albion’s Premier League run-in sees Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United visiting the Amex either side of a trip to Burnley, before Chris Hughton’s team conclude their season on Merseyside.

Newcastle also welcome Arsenal to Tyneside midway through April, in what could be another crucial match in the battle for Premier League glory.

The stage has certainly been set for an entertaining final day, but another 37 games come first for the Seagulls, starting with an opening day fixture against another Premier League favourite - Manchester City.
