Brighton & Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton has wished Chris O’Grady all the best following the striker’s move to Chesterfield.
O’Grady agreed a two-year contract with the League Two club after three years at Albion, where he made 38 appearances and scored three goals.
Albion boss Hughton said, “I am delighted for Chris, this is a great move for him.
“Unfortunately it didn’t quite work out for him here in terms of game time, but his attitude and professionalism was always first class.
“On behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to thank him for all his efforts during his time with us and wish him all the very best for the future.”

O’Grady made his Albion debut in a 1-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in August 2014, and one of his most memorable moments was scoring in a 3-2 FA Cup defeat to Arsenal in January 2015.
