Albion celebrate Anthony Knockaert's goal against Rotherham United.

Brighton & Hove Albion began the month with a uncharacteristic 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground, which game their promotion rivals hope in the race for a top-two finish.
Chris Hughton’s team were unable to bounce back from their narrow 2-1 loss against Newcastle United at the end of February, and after their convincing loss to the Reds at the start of March, the Albion boss demanded an improved display when they travelled to bottom-placed Rotherham United.
And that’s exactly what he got, as the Seagulls sealed a 2-0 victory with a professional display at the AESSEAL New York Stadium. Anthony Knockaert opened the scoring to calm any nerves in the second half, and Solly March doubled the lead with a low-driven effort into the bottom corner late on.
Hughton’s sude recorded back-to-back triumphs when Derby County visited the south coast, and it was yet another 3-0 victory that secured the points - Albion’s fifth league win at the Amex by that scoreline. Knockaert, Sam Baldock and Glenn Murray produced in front of goal to overcome the Rams and push Albion another step closer to promotion.
But just when the Seagulls looked to be mounting another unbeaten run, play-off hopefuls Leeds United produced a fine display at Elland Road to secure a 2-0 win against Hughton’s promotion chasers at the end of the month.
