Brighton & Hove Albion under-23 coach Simon Rusk.

The first pre-season friendlies for Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-23s have now been confirmed.
Simon Rusk’s side play their first game this Friday against Portuguese side Guimaraes B, kick-off 11am, as part of a pre-season training camp.
The following week sees Albion face Arsenal away in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Friday 14th July, before a match away at Celtic on Wednesday 19th July – the time and venue for this game will be confirmed in due course.
It is then a game much closer to home against Whitehawk at the Enclosed Ground on Wednesday 26th July, kick-off 7.45pm.
Albion’s status as the Parafix Sussex Senior Challenge Cup holders means they will also compete for the county’s Community Shield on Tuesday 1st August. The opponents are Southern Combination Football League champions Shoreham, and the game kicks off at 7.15pm at Culver Road.
The summer schedule ends with a fixture against Bournemouth on Tuesday 8th August at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre.
